About Me

I love creative problem solving

Every problem has a solution, and the journey of developing creative solutions for problems is what makes my job fun. I'm kind of like Dr. Gregory House in that respect (minus the personality problems, pill popping and neurotic tendencies).

In no particular hierarchical order, I specialize in front-end development with various JavaScript frameworks, responsive web design and advanced/complicated WordPress development. I have experience building all sorts of web solutions, from inception to completion.

I am currently looking for work, so if you're interested, shoot me a message, and lets talk about what you have in mind!

Work Experience

triValence

Angular Development

triValence is a healthcare start-up that focuses on supply-chain software for ambulatory surgical centers (ASCs). I had the opportunity to do feature development on the platform and build out a new onboarding experience for new customers that served as an "on-ramp" to the application.

Bright Health Group

During my time at Bright Health Group, I worked on Zipnosis (a white-labeled telemedicine web app) and a mobile app called DocSquad. A couple of highlights include getting the patient experience of Zipnosis translated into Spanish, and leading a web accessibility effort in the web app version of DocSquad to achieve higher WCAG standards.

I've improved my client relationship skills, and how to define the project's scope and requirements through an agile methodology.

JCAHPO

Web Design Web Development Technical Support

My responsibilities revolved around leading the design, development, and maintenance of JCAHPO's various websites and web applications. One of my biggest "take-aways" from this job was how to provide effective leadership when it comes to strategic planning and development for the "big picture" of things. I also improved my project management skills, as well as my ability to work effectively and efficiently with different departments on projects.
